Biography


Arnold Brames (he prefers "Arnie") graduated from Indiana State University in 1965 and Indiana University Indianapolis Law School in 1970 and was admitted to practice law in the State of Indiana in 1970. In 1979 he was a founder of the firm that is now Brames & Oldham.

            Born in St. Marks, Indiana on April 12, 1943, Mr. Brames was admitted to the Indiana Bar in September of 1970. Brames is also admitted to practice before United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana

 

            From 1977 to 1979, Brames served as the Juvenile Judge of Vigo County. His legal memberships include the Indiana State Bar Association serving as Chairman of Corporation, Banking and Business Law Section from 1990-1991 and 7th District Council Member from 1984-1990; Delegate of the Terre Haute Bar Association to the Indiana State Bar Association from 1985-1993.

            Rhonda D. Oldham joined the firm in 1984.  Mrs. Oldham graduated magna cum laude from Indiana State University in 1979 and received her J.D. from Indiana University Law School in Bloomington in 1982

and was admitted to the practice of law in the

State of Indiana that same year.  Mrs. Oldham

is past president of the Terre Haute Bar

Association and belongs to both the Indiana

State and Terre Haute Bar Associations.

 

            Mrs. Oldham's seminar activities

include the following:

October, 1990;

            Mrs. Oldham concentrates her practice in real estate, corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships, banking and other business entities. In addition, Mrs. Oldham regularly advises banks on state and federal regulatory compliance matters affecting financial institutions.
